Arm studies tonight. Again, these are all from pictures and other drawings.
Fun class tonight. We were using photo ref again and learning about the muscles of the back, particularly those that act on the arms. I started drawing from this one photo of some old dude. The top half of his head was cut off from the image and I felt bad for him, so I made sure to give him a whole head once again!
These were drawn from pictures. While last week we focused more on the large forms, shapes, and rhythms of the torso, last night night we focused more on the actual muscles.
A reinterpretation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” completed as a final project for a class at CSU Fullerton. Completed in ink and watercolor.
